Nico Andrews Nico Andrews
Age 51, 6'1", 190lbs. Nico is one of the most highly trained martial artists in the world having begun training at age 10 and taking the Pan American Jiu Jitsu World Championship at age 49. He is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt, a 7th dan Jiu Jitsu black belt (red belt from Osaka), a 7th degree Judo black belt, a 5th Dan Shorin Ryu Karate black belt, a Master Muay Thai Instructor, and a Shaolin Kung-Fu black sash. Nico lives and teaches in Marin County and is the founder and director of World Jiu Jitsu.
Mike McGibben Mike McGibben
Age 42, 6'2", 225lbs. Mike's training began in San Jose, CA at age 18 and has been anything but traditional, focusing on what works on the streets not what is allowed in tournaments. His training began with Master Dan Choi in Tang Soo Do and Hapkido. He earned a Blackbelt in Tang Soo by 1989. He's trained with Green Berets, Hells Angels, professional fighters, and renowned Japanese, Chinese and Korean martial arts masters. His search for the practical and most effective fighting techniques came under instructors like Master Adam Hsu who is a recognized authority on Northern Chinese Martial Arts with the foundation of Mike's training being the arts of Baji Chuan and Islamic Longfist. His most recent training was in a Pat Miletich affiliated MMA school in Bozeman, Montana where students trained in Behring Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, boxing and Thai Kickboxing. His training with a variety of martial artists has provided a very versatile knowledge of real world self-defense.
Diogo Gomes Serge Gerlach

Serge Gerlach has a long history in martial arts with training in san shou, submission wrestling, BJJ, and Combat Sambo under Alexander Barakov. His 11 years of SAMBO (Russian Military Combatives and Sport Competitive versions) accomplishments include an "Instruc-tor's Rank" from New York Combat Sambo earned in 2008.

Most of his training was in Moscow with Igor Kurinnoy. He won the heavyweight bronze medal at the 1997 Gene LeBell World Grappler's Challenge in Toronto, Canada; a gold medal (2004) and silver medal (2006) at the United Gracie Tournament in San Francisco; a bronze medal at the 2005 Unity Classic Sambo Tournament; and a silver medal at the 2005 and 2007 North American Freestyle Sambo Championships. Serge teaches Combat Sambo classes at Kentfield MMA and throughout the San Francisco Bay area.

Amateur competition experiences in many Sport Sambo, Judo, Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu and kickboxing tournaments/events.

Extensive seminars in sport and combatives fight training. Combatives seminars placed special emphasis on preventative work and resolution/minimization of force.
